Rach does not win the glamour Yummy Mummy Award because she did not wear red sequin high heels and did not fix her hair before, during or after the rides, like some of the visitors. Sorry everyone!
The babies really enjoyed Disney Sea! They were asleep 80% of the time!

We were lucky enough to stay at the Hilton at Tokyo Bay. We visited Yusuke's desk at the front.

Near the Sumo Stadium is a Sumo Restaurant with its own Sumo ring. Erina's dreams of sumo stardom are shattered because women are not permitted to enter the sumo ring.

Inside the Fuji TV building circle we met the Fuji TV mascot. We call him "Blue Snoopy", we're not sure of his Japanese name.
Lily surprising Nathan & Carrie at Funabashi Station.
Nathan and Carrie were on a tour of Japan and planned to stay at Alya and Yusuke's house. They didn't know that we were in Japan too because we decided to go there so suddenly. Rachel and Fairuz and Erina were hiding behind a pillar at the Funabashi Station. Alya, Yusuke and Lily went to meet Nathan and Carrie.

After the initial surprise of meeting each other, Nathan and Lily started to get along just fine.
A family dinner in Chiba. We had yummy DIY sashimi.
After Nathan & Carrie left, we went to Nagano. The temple was beautiful and it had a very spooky tunnel under the main alter where "everyone becomes equal in the dark"
There was a jazz festival in Nagano that day. This singer sounded exactly like Louis Armstrong.
The next day we took the stroller through the forest
to see the Snow Monkeys. These monkeys sit in the hot springs during winter to keep warm. There were several baby monkeys. 
One monkey was in the spa. You can see the monkey web cam in the foreground.
Then we went to Nikko. It has a pretty temple, thousands of tourists and lots of grumpy inhabitants.

This artist scultped the elephant and the lion based on the animal skins only. He had never seen either.

We met up with Yusuke, Alya, Erina and Erina's Jiji (grandfather) in Nikko for lunch. Why did Jiji choose this restaurant? It has a 60% discount on beer.
At 100 Yen Sushi Lily made friends with the boys at the table next to ours.
2 babies at once is not so easy!

We visited Yokohama's 21st Century Area. Our aim in Yokohama was to go on the highest ferris wheel in Japan. Please keep in mind, it is closed on Thursdays. It looked very nice from a distance...
Japan has a lot of vending machines. What is Pocari Sweat? I don't know and I don't really want to find out.
We went to the Peater Pan bakery for brunch. We enjoyed eating this Anpanman chocolate bun
