Drawing a picture of herself
First day at preschool making a pattern using beads on the OHP

At the end of January Zim had surgery to remove a dermoid cyst from his left eyebrow. We thought he might be a bit drowsy after the general anaesthetic wore off. We were wrong!
Here he is shaking the bars of the hospital cot
That was after he finished running around the room and practicing his new skill of turning around and around and around

Turning around can make you feel a bit dizzy

And there are so many buttons to push and interesting cords
At the end of Feb Zim had a fall and bumped the other side of his face. The bump did no damage and the cut, which looked terrible at the time, was actually very shallow and did not even require a stitch. The doctor at the emergency room asked us to stay for a few hours to check his reactions just to be sure he was ok. He is fine. In fact, after about 15 minutes at the hospital he was running around checking everything out. Here he is finally sleeping.

On Australia Day weekend we had a lovely beach holiday with Tania, Stan and May.
